Brief
To Build A Spa-Like Space In The Garden

Craig's client had a relatively simple brief for him. She wanted to transform her back garden and her disused garage into a heavenly space that reminded her of her Sopwell House - her favourite spa destination.
Included in the garden was to be an outdoor living room, water features, lighting, heating, a kitchen and various areas for relaxing in the shade.

Challenge
Accommodating A Wealth of Wiring

On the whole, this project ran smoothly for Craig and his team. Because he designed the garden himself, every little construction detail had been figured out before work began. For example, where to 'hide' all of the complex wiring needed for the outdoor kitchen, heating, lighting and sound systems.
Craig tells us that using the Solid Wall System for in the construction process, not only helped the team to form the complex shapes needed to build the design, he was also able to pipe the wiring through them with relative ease.

Another Beautiful Garden For Craig's Portfolio

This garden has to be one of our favourites. It's neither huge nor isolated, yet there is a feeling of light, space, and peace that is hard to create in an urban back garden.
The garage has been converted into a beautiful outdoor living room complete with interior walls and ceilings faced with authentic french barn wood.
An extensive composite decking area connects the comfortable living room to a well equipped outdoor kitchen with an adjoining dining area beneath a timber pergola.
Lighting, heating and piped music add to the overall ambience to facilitate that indoor-outdoor lifestyle that so many people dream of.
