Brief
Injecting Character Into A New Build Garden

This 130m2 newbuild garden in Norfolk sits on a beautifully designed development with some characterful properties. The gardens however, are no reflection of the care and attention that the developers have dedicated to building the homes. One could call the gardens a blank canvas. This one is now a work of art.
Jonathan Mitchell of Teasels Landscapes was commissioned to create a low maintenance garden which compliments the house and makes the most of the space. Working with Eleanor Victoria Garden Designs, he's done just that.

Challenge
Tight Spaces And Parking Limitations

In some parts of Norfolk you find lovely wide streets where two combine harvesters can pass with ease. That was not the case on this development.
With a 7.5 tonne weight limit on the drive and narrow access, Jonathan and his team struggled with the logistics for material deliveries. Aside from this, decent soil and a very tolerant client meant that there were not too many problems with the build.

Solution
A Hard Landscaping Triumph

You'd not believe it from looking at the site, but this was Teasels Landscapes first attempt at cladding walls. We think they've done a superior job of it and they should continue to build their skills sets. They're clearly a very talented team.
We love this contemporary garden. It makes a relatively small space feel much larger and the garden certainly looks very inviting. We're all wondering what's included in the planting plan. Hopefully Jonathan will be able to send us some summer pics.

Our Client Said...
