Brief
Creating a mature garden

This regency property in London deserved a garden as mature and elegant as the house itself. Something that reflected the age of the house and gave a nod to garden design trends in the early 19th century.

Challenge
How to make a new garden look old

The challenge of this particular project was making the new garden look as though it is the same age as the house. As an experienced garden designer, George knew just what to do. Classic styling and traditional materials.

Solution
Reclaimed materials - the way forward

George chose to use reclaimed bricks for instant maturity. To improve privacy, he specified pleached photinia trees. These don't detract from the beautiful boundary wall in any way, in fact, the red hues of the foliage blend complement the brickwork perfectly.

Reclaimed bricks and specialist trees are of course, not widely available. To save himself many hours worth of phone calls, internet searches and negotiating, George asked Arbour Landsape Solutions Ltd to help him source the products he needed.
