Brief
Surrounding a home with beauty

Gardens are a haven for mindfulness and that's exactly what the client was hoping for when they engaged the enigmatic Jack Dunckley to design their outdoor space. They were looking to surround their home with beauty. From the front gate to the whole of the large back garden, this garden is to be a welcoming space that looks and feels great all year round.

Challenge
Working with a blank canvas

Jack was lucky enough to have a blank canvas to work with on this project. He also had clients who positively encouraged him to use his creativity to the full. This allowed for lots of unique features. The front gates, the natural gas Firetable, the lighting plan, driftwood benches and stunning bespoke sculptures and water features really do lend this space a sense of originality.

Of course, a large complex project requires a wide variety of materials. Each one needs to be sourced, priced, and the deliveries organised. The Arbour Landscape Solutions team were on hand to help Jack's team with some of the procurement, saving them time and securing some great prices at the same time.

As you can see from the video, this garden is a wonderful showcase for Jack's creativity and craftsmanship.
From the artisan gates to the high quality outdoor kitchen, the attention to detail is exquisite.
Lavish planting with palms, grasses, mediterranean herbs and olive trees creates a relaxing ambiance. Features such as urns, benches, boulders, water features and an artificial green roof ensure that there are points of interest at every turn and from every viewpoint.
