Formal Front Garden in West Sussex

This was an unusual project, in that the clients knew exactly what they wanted. However, rather than working with a garden design, or even a sketch, Adam was asked to reproduce an image found on a social media site.
Like most landscapers, the Utopia team prefers to create unique gardens, however, they managed to adapt the image. Adding some original features to make it their own. Having already landscaped the back garden of the property, Adam and the team had a good relationship with the client who readily accepted their suggestions.

With a finite budget, and also given that this is a newbuild property with a perfectly serviceable driveway, one of the biggest challenges of this project was working to the existing tarmac. Which sloped at both ends and into the middle.
It doesn't show all that well in the photographs but the wall to the right of the garden is curved. Cutting pavers around that gave the team something to think about. But they did a great job.
Arguably though, the main challenge was to detract from the "Pinterest" lawn and planting area. Fortunately Adam had free rein over the path and step and knew exactly how to create something uniquely special without going off-brief.

Positive feedback from neighbours, passers-by and colleagues in the landscape industry has more than confirmed that Adam's choice of paving materials was spot on. Combine that with his skilled workmanship and wow! what a job! Take a look at the finish on the path and the step - fantastic!
